Product Condition Disclaimer

Important information regarding product condition, packaging, and shipping-related cosmetic damage.

Product condition overview

Many of the products sold by Snacks and More are grocery, pantry, and household consumable items. Due to the nature of these products and the shipping process, items may experience minor cosmetic imperfections during transit.

Examples of minor cosmetic imperfections may include dents, scuffs, creases, label shifts, or other packaging variations that occur during shipping and handling.

These cosmetic issues are common in transit and do not affect product quality, safety, freshness, or usability.

Product quality and safety

We do not sell expired, compromised, or unsafe products. All items are handled and stored in accordance with manufacturer guidelines prior to shipment.

Cosmetic packaging imperfections do not indicate that a product is defective or unsafe, and sealed products remain suitable for normal use unless otherwise noted.

Packaging variations

Product packaging, labeling, and design may vary from images displayed on the website due to manufacturer updates or packaging changes.

Packaging appearance does not affect the contents, quantity, or quality of the product inside the package.

Shipping and handling

We take care to package all orders securely to help minimize damage during transit. However, once an order has been handed off to the shipping carrier, handling during transit is outside of our control.

Shipping carriers may process packages through automated systems, sorting equipment, and multiple transfer points, which can result in cosmetic packaging damage despite appropriate packing.

Minor vs. significant damage

  • Minor cosmetic damage: Includes dents, creases, scuffs, or external packaging wear that does not affect the usability, safety, or integrity of the product.
  • Significant damage: Includes damage that compromises the product’s usability, seal, or contents beyond cosmetic appearance.

Shipping damage responsibility

  • Carrier-related damage: Any damage that occurs while a package is in transit is the responsibility of the shipping carrier.
  • Carrier claims: If your order arrives with visible carrier-related damage, the customer is responsible for filing a damage claim directly with the carrier using the tracking information provided at shipment. Carriers may require photos of the damaged packaging and contents to process a claim.
  • Reporting significant damage: If an item arrives with damage that affects usability (beyond minor cosmetic imperfections), please contact us within 48 hours of delivery so we can review the situation and provide guidance.

Assistance, refunds, or replacements—if applicable—are offered at our discretion and may depend on the outcome of any carrier claim or review.

Customer responsibilities

Customers are encouraged to inspect packages upon delivery and retain original packaging materials if damage is observed.

Prompt reporting helps ensure that any necessary carrier claims or reviews can be initiated within required timeframes.
